Juan Pablo is a content producer, martial artist, musician, language educator, and lifelong learner based between Mexico and the United States. His work centers on storytelling, culture, and human connection.

 

Through video, photography, and behind-the-scenes content, he documents people, artists, events, and experiences with an emphasis on authenticity and natural expression. His work and personal projects have taken him across Mexico, Guatemala, Europe, and North Africa. From documenting a journey up Guatemala's Acatenango Volcano to photographing the streets and people of Paris, capturing experiences in Los Cabos, and traveling through Morocco, Juan Pablo brings the same curiosity behind the camera that has guided him throughout his life: a desire to observe, experience, and capture the world as it is.

 

Juan Pablo's foundation is in martial arts. He began training in Taekwondo at the age of four, became an instructor at twelve, and later competed internationally as a member of Guatemala's National Taekwondo Team, earning a gold medal at the Central American Games. His experience as an athlete shaped the discipline, curiosity, and adaptability that continue to influence his work today.

 

A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures, Juan Pablo has always been drawn to language, culture, and exploration. He is currently studying Korean and continues to pursue opportunities to live, work, and connect across cultures.

 

Today, he works with artists, businesses, and creative projects in Mexico, Guatemala, and the United States, producing content that captures the people and stories behind the work. Whether documenting an event, following an artist behind the scenes, producing narrative-driven content, or traveling somewhere unfamiliar with a camera in hand, his goal remains the same: to capture experiences with curiosity, intention, and authenticity.

 

Outside of production, his interests include music, skateboarding, martial arts, languages, teaching, travel, and learning new skills. At the center of everything is a simple philosophy: stay curious, keep learning, and build the life you want to live.
